Beauty Spend Report | April 2021

april beauty spend report 2021

It’s been a while since my last spending report because I actually managed to make it through March with a beauty no buy! I know, I am as shocked as you are, but don’t worry, I made up for it last month! Here is a rundown of what I picked up!

It all started with a little Boots order to restock my vitamins and some body moisturiser (I don’t include these as they are so basic/necessary) when I thought I would look for a replacement for my Essie Midnight Cami nail polish which I have went through a couple of bottles of and is on its last legs. Unfortunately, this shade seems to be discontinued which is a typical occurrence for me when I find something I love *rolls eyes*. It was a beautiful, unique, twilight blue with a subtle shimmer running through it and the closest I could find was this navy blue in Infinity Cool, it’s pretty bog standard but I like deep shades like this for my toenails so it will do the job! It cost £7.99 and like I said was part of a bigger order so I got £10 worth in points which I will come back to later! I will also receive £1.32 from TopCashback when it clears!

look fantastic haul olaplex

Later in the month I made a Look Fantastic order consisting of repurchases! My beloved Olaplex No.3 for £20.80 instead of £26 (read more about how much I love it here!), the Barry M lip scrub for £3.99 instead of £4.99 and the Anastasia Beverly Hills single shadow in Warm Taupe for £5.94 instead of £12. I have a full review of my custom ABH palette here but this shade is by far my more used and since it was half price I thought I would pick it up as mine is old! The total for this order was £30.73. These all had 20% off and the eyeshadow had up to 35% off so was a few pennies cheaper! Gotta love Look Fantastic for a discount and I used TopCashback too so will get £1.54 cashback from them too!

cult beauty haul 2021

Towards the end of last month I struggled with deciding to get the Cult Beauty GWP or 15% off my order instead but in the end I decided there was enough I wanted to try in it to justify the extra spend! I picked up a few things that had been on my wish list for a while as well as some newer releases – the Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster (£37), Biossance 100% Squalane Oil (£27), Keys Soulcare Reviving Aura Mist (£22), Heritage Store Castor Oil (£6.99), Hello Sunday The Everyday One – Face Moisturiser SPF 30 (£15), Vieve Eye Wand in Camel (£21), Lanolips Fruity Babies (£8.99) and the IT Cosmetics travel size Your Skin But Better CC+ in Light (£14). The grand total of this haul was £151.98. Everything is new to me apart from the Lanolips 101 Ointment in the Fruity Babies set which I LOVE and talked about more in this post all about Lanolips. Coincidentally, my original coconutter balm was from a previous Cult Beauty GWP! I forgot to use TopCashback but I did get 5% cashback through my Santander credit card so £7.60!

cult beauty tried and tested goody bag gwp april 2021

Along with a £150 spend came the Tried and Tested goody bag and I am most excited to try the Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil, Medik8 C-Tetra, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream and Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. There are a few products I’m not interested in so I might try sell them on eBay or Instagram!

nars soft matte lip balm in unrestricted

Finally, my last purchase of the month was the Nars Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm in Unrestricted while it was on offer with 20% off at Boots. I also bought it with my Boots points as I finally had enough so even better! Now I have 11 points left haha, worth it though as I absolutely love this! It is the most perfect pink nude and the formula is just beautiful! It’s so comfortable to wear and looks so chic as it's matte! I hope they make them permanent! This was £18.40 instead of £23 and like I said I used my points to buy so didn’t actually spend any “real” money!

abh warm taupe vieve camel nars unrestricted it cosmetics cc light swatches
Unedited swatches l-r: ABH Warm Taupe, Vieve Eye Wand in Camel, NARS Unrestricted, IT Cosmetics CC cream in Light

My total spend for April was £190.70 instead of £225.96 which is a bit ridiculous if I am honest and reminds me of 2016-2018 me when I would spend loads on beauty each month. I have become a lot more selective of what I buy these days and the Cult Beauty order was a big chunk of this and since I hadn’t got the last few as they didn’t interest me I thought it was time for a treat! But it basically makes up for a no spend in the month of March ha! I’ll tell you already that May hasn’t been much better *face palm*

Best UK Beauty Sites and how to save money

best online beauty shops site uk boots beauty bay look fantastic space nk feel unique escentual debenhams house of fraser

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone! I've been planning this post for a while and scheduled it last week without realising today was a bank holiday so if you are planning a splurge - now is the time! The majority of my spending is done online because more often than not there will be a discount code flying around or my favourite brands are only sold online but yeah mainly the discount codes, with an expensive beauty habit I need all the money off I can get! I’ve put together a list of my favourite online shops for beauty and skincare and what I like to buy from them! A lot of the brands crossover but some sites have better offers/more frequent offers/a better loyalty card etc. so I’ve tried to make it as detailed as possible without writing a dissertation on it!

boots haul makeup skincare origins liz earle smashbox bondi sands nyx no7 burts bees soap and glory

Probably my most used beauty site and where half my wages seem to disappear every month - good old Boots! As well as shopping frequently in their stores I seem to make orders regularly too as a lot of my local stores don’t stock what I want!

Best time to buy?
Anytime! Boots always have 3 for 2 or buy one get one half price offers on but I also like to wait for a coupon with a points offer like 400 points when you spend £40 (easily done)! The advantage card is my favourite loyalty card and the points add up quickly so you can treat yourself and feel a little less guilty! Oh and they do the best Christmas/Boxing Day sale but you need to get in quick!

Brands to check out?
Soap and Glory, Bondi Sands (their dry tanning oil is amazing and exclusive to Boots), No7 (Perfect Light translucent setting powder in particular), SEVENTEEN, NYX, Smashbox, Origins, Liz Earle…I’ll stop now!

beauty bay haul online shoppping uk morphe makeup geek zoeva spectrum la girl hd brows z palette

Ah Beauty Bay, probably the most controversial of the shops I’ve listed as a lot of people seem to complain about their delivery service. I’ve never had a problem though and they are my favourite place to get my Makeup Geek and Zoeva fix! They don’t usually have many offers on, things go out of stock fast and bear in mind that discount codes don’t work on a lot of items because they are excluded but delivery is quick (for me anyway) and they have a great range of hard to find brands!

Best time to buy?
Wait until you have a few things in your basket – their deluxe gifts are brilliant, I’ve gotten a High Definition Eye and Brow palette and a deluxe Kevyn Aucoin Flesh Tone lip pencil before and been really impressed with both! The best offer I’ve seen was the half price Makeup Geek sale but as I’ve mentioned, things went out of stock fast and I know people had trouble getting it to apply to their basket (they have also now upped their prices too)! See my Makeup Geek collection here!

Brands to check out?
Makeup Geek and Zoeva as previously mentioned as well as Morphe LA Girl, Z palette and Spectrum! Gerard Cosmetics are next on my hit list and I may have placed an order on Friday with the money off spend code Beauty Bay have up for the weekend!

escentual haul skincare eucerin vichy la roche posay grown alchemist hylamide

I love Escentual for their skincare offers, they seem to have a new one every week and a great range of products from some of my favourite brands!

Best time to buy?
Wait for a big percentage off – they do them all the time and I think the most I’ve got off was 25% which was applied to everything on site! Their 1/3 off French pharmacy offers are also very regular and great for stocking up on your faves!

Brands to check out? Hylamide, Vichy, Eucerin, La Roche Posay, Bioderma.

cult beauty haul makeup skincare stila pixi alpha h ouai fairydrops abh moa

A little more luxe and edited, Cult Beauty stock - you guessed it - cult beauty and skincare products!

Best time to buy?
Wait for the gift with purchase offer! I always splurge on things I’ve been wanting for a while when this offer comes round then feel a little less guilty because the GWP is always filled with loads of new products to try from amazing brands! I am hoping they have another one soon because I have my eye on quite a few things!

Brands to check out? Pixi, Becca, Huda Beauty, Beauty Blender, Anastasia Beverly Hills, OUAI, MOA, Stila.

feel unique haul makeup urban decay estee lauder giorgio armani the balm

Another great site that stocks loads of brands and always seems to have an offer on or 10% off! They also have a new Pick ‘n’ mix service where you can try five samples of products out for £3.95 shipping then get the money back on your next order!

Best time to buy?
Wait for 10% off site wide or a save on spend offer and have a splurge!  They also do 10% off for students if you have an account with something like Unidays (but this can’t be used with other offers!)

Brands to check out? Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, Giorgio Armani.

look fantastic haul skincare makeup trilogy rosehip oil niod shiseido illamasqua

I literally get an email from this site every day, it’s a pity most of their discount codes have a lot of excluded items but like all the websites I’ve mentioned, they have a good range of brands and other offers like free gifts on constantly! They also do a monthly beauty box which you don’t have to subscribe to for £15. I like to check any reviews at the start of the month for spoilers to see if I want it – I haven’t bought one in ages but it can include products from brands off their site so NUXE, Caudalie and Ren pop up quite a bit!

Best time to buy?
They do timed offered like the first 200 people to checkout get 20% off quite often though see above note about excluded items!

Brands to check out? Illamasqua, Deciem, Trilogy, Shiseido.

space nk haul makeup nars kevyn aucoin grown alchemist

Like Cult Beauty, Space NK to me is a little more luxe and on the expensive side of things! I have managed to get a few good things from the sale but you have to be quick as things sell out so quickly!

Best time to buy?
Wait for a £15 off £60 spend offer, the sale, or until you have enough N.centive points to get some money off!

Brands to check out? NARS, Kevyn Aucoin, Hourglass, Grown Alchemist.

debenhams haul makeup too faced mac

Debenhams
I thought it was worth mentioning Debenhams too as they often have 10% off beauty and do a loyalty card. I never get much use out of mine but I suspect this will all change as Kat Von D is coming next month! Exciting times!

Best time to buy?
A 10% off beauty offer, they do them regularly and they last for a good few days!

Brands to check out? Too Faced, MAC, Urban Decay, Benefit, Kat Von D.

house of fraser haul makeup charlotte tilbury laura geller

Very similar to Debenhams in my opinion and I am just realising they do a loyalty card too, I don't order off these two websites as much as the ones at the start of this post so I think my points expire before I get a chance to use them! They do student discount like Feel Unique so you can get 10% off!

Best time to buy?
They do 10% off beauty offers too and a regular £10 off £50 spend when you buy one of their favourite beauty products but if you are a student, any time really!

Brands to check out? Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Geller.

Special mention also goes to ASOS who have a pretty good beauty section with brands like NARS and Illamasqua and regularly have offers on (as well as doing student discount). Marks and Spencer are great for Pixi and Emma Hardie, Cloud 10 Beauty for The Balm, The Body Shop for their 30% and 40% off codes and Superdrug for most things that Boots does as well (I just don’t have one near me so rarely shop in it!).

I’m signed up to all of these sites email newsletters and while some can be a bit overkill with how often they send them out most are great informing you of offers or new arrivals to the site! I also always google discount codes before I buy something in case I've missed an email so it’s good to check before you hit buy!

Like I said, I’ve added a brands to check out list under each online site but obviously a few of these crossover into different stores, I’ve just went with where I’ve found the best deal!

I may have also made a few orders this weekend as it was payday on Friday and there were some offers on that I couldn't resist! I post a lot of my hauls to Instagram so follow me there if that’s the type of thing you like to see!

Let me know if you bought anything this weekend! What’s your favourite online beauty site?

The Green Machines

green beauty products garnier fructis dr bronners magic soap dkny be delicious pixi glow tonic irigins drink up intensive essie absolutely shore boots essentials cucumber ribbands

After my previous pink and blue posts we are now moving onto green! I’m so unimaginative, I hate coming up with the titles for these posts! Anyway, here are my favourite green (or packaged green) products!

Garnier Fructis Strength and Shine Fortifying Shampoo
I have been using this shampoo for years now and when I just want a real good clean it’s still what I reach for! It lathers up well (full of sulphates!) and smells lovely and my hair always feels fresh and clean after using it! I always have one of these to hand! The best thing about it is its £1 in Poundland!

I’ve had this bottle for about two years and it’s still going strong! This is my favourite thing to wash my brushes with (I used to use shampoo) as it’s so lightweight, lathers up well and gives such a good deep clean! It’s a very watery consistency so some product does go down the plughole when you pour it out if you’re not careful but the bottle it massive and it’s lasted me ages!

Boots Essentials Eye Makeup Remover Gel
While I wouldn’t recommend this as an eye makeup remover if you wear waterproof mascara or heavy eye makeup, it works so well for me as a morning eye cleanse and takes off anything I’ve missed the night before while being cooling and refreshing! It’s so affordable too and really gentle!

I got this in a set of masks last Christmas I think and it’s lasted me such a long time! I use this at least once a week when my skin is feeling a little dehydrated and it feels so luxurious! It works overnight to replace moisture and I find I always wake up with plumper hydrated skin! I’m nearly finished this tube and definitely will replace it! It also smells amazing!

I’ve gone through a few of these in the past then didn’t bother repurchasing as I couldn’t see much of a difference in my skin. I still don’t, but I may have needed to reach a certain amount to get a free gift or something so of course I filled my basket! I usually use this in the morning if I’m not using Serozinc and I just find it to be a really refreshing step in my routine that helps to wake me up. I love the smell (main ingredients include grape, orange blossom, rose, mint and rosemary) so although it’s not a necessity for me it’s still a product I enjoy using!

This has to be my favourite toner ever! It’s an exfoliating toner that dissolves dead skin cells helping to reveal fresh cells underneath. I find it really gentle and use it daily and its one of very few products that I see a noticeable difference in my skin with! It looks a lot more even, clearer and smoother and I couldn’t be without this now! It also featured in a repurchases post here!

essie absolutely shore swatch pastel green nail polish

Essie Absolutely Shore
Another perfect pastel shade from Essie and one of the the only green shades I have! I actually think this is now discontinued L but it’s described as a “sea foam green with a cream finish”. Again, it’s another nail polish I like to wear when I have a tan as it just makes it look 10x better!

Ribbands
I have become addicted to these bobbles since I first got my hands on them last year! I actually thought these were just Popbands which I also talked about here but they are by a brand called Ribband and I got them in a Selfridges Beauty Box last summer! Just like Popbands they keep my keep my hair secure but don’t pull it too tight and they don’t leave kinks!

This is probably my favourite fragrance and I love layering up the body lotion and the perfume! I actually prefer the original but it was too difficult to photograph so I gave up! The skin hydrating version is meant to moisturise, smooth and brighten the skin which to be honest I haven’t noticed. I do however notice how light and fresh the scent is and it’s also a bit more affordable than the original Be Delicious so handy for popping in your bag for top ups! I think all three versions of the fragrance have featured in my empties over the last year too!

Do you have any of the products I talked about? What’s yours favourite green beauty product?

SEVENTEEN Christmas Gift with Purchase 2015

Hi everyone, I wanted to get a post up today with a gift with purchase that’s currently available in Boots! If you spend £6 on selected SEVENTEEN products you get a free pouch with three makeup brushes! Here’s what I bought!

SEVENTEEN gift with purchase Christmas 2015

SEVENTEEN gift with purchase blush powder makeup brushes review

SEVENTEEN Stay Time Pressed Powder
I go through powder quite quickly and my Holy Grail powder is No7 Perfect Light pressed powder, being that SEVENTEEN is meant to be the baby sister brand of No7 I thought I would try one of their powders. I went with Stay Time as I like mattifying powders that help make my makeup last and so far I’ve been really impressed with the stay time (geddit) of this powder! I have it in the shade Fair and although I do prefer my setting powders to be translucent, this doesn’t add any noticeable colour to my face and I’m really impressed with its lasting power!

SEVENTEEN Blush Powder
The packaging of the blusher is not my favourite thing in the world as it’s a screw cap and I just find it more fiddly than anything but the range of colours is great and I had a hard time picking just one! I eventually settled on China Pink which is a lovely bright matte pink colour that has a great amount of pigmentation and lasts all day on my cheeks! The best thing about these blushes – they’re only £2.99!

SEVENTEEN gift with purchase makeup brushes review

The GWP includes a black glitter pouch with three makeup brushes, one for cheeks, eyes and lips. They are all a lot softer than I was expecting and the cheek brush works well to apply the blush evenly, the eye brush is great for applying a darker shadow colour in the outer corner and the lip brush has been perfect to use to apply the lip products in my In the Balm of Your Hand palette!

Have you seen all the Christmas makeup GWP’s in Boots at the minute? This might not have been the only one I bought! Did you get any?

SEVENTEEN: Old and New Favourites!

SEVENTEEN Boots favourite products makeup

Hi everyone! I've got a few quick reviews and swatches today of some of my old and new favourites from Boots own brand SEVENTEEN! Keep reading to see what I love from the brand!

First up are some old favourites of mine that I absolutely love. The Phwoarr Paint heavy duty under eye concealer in Fair (£5.49) comes in two shades of which I have the lightest. It is a very thick and creamy concealer that covers dark circles really well! As with other cream concealers I have, I like to use this with my ring finger in order to warm it up and blend it under my eye. I really like setting this with a separate powder I will talk about later in this post but this ensures it doesn’t settle into any fine lines around the eyes and that it lasts throughout the day. I also sometimes use it to conceal spots too and it does a good job at this as well!

SEVENTEEN Brows that! brow kit phoarr paint fair swatches

Brow’s That! brow kit £5.99
I feel like this was the original drugstore/highstreet brow kit! It was the first brow kit I owned anyway and I got it in one of Boots’ trusty free gift offers a few Christmases ago! I was actually using it to do my make up for New Year’s Eve at my friend’s house and she pulled out the same kit – we can’t resist a Boots bargain! It only comes in one shade but I find the colours are very cool toned and a great match for me, the wax and powder are not overly pigmented so perfect for an everyday look if you just want to define your eyebrows a bit. They can be made a little more dramatic if you also use the pencil before filling in with the wax and powder and I love the fact it’s so easily buildable and the highlight shade has a lovely shimmer to it that’s not too obviously glittery!

SEVENTEEN lipstick swatches beehive audition bold

Mirror Shine lipstick in Beehive £4.79
I first bought this a few years back (when it was in the blue packaging – anyone remember?). Vivianna Does Makeup raved about it so I picked it up to see what all the fuss was about and fell in love with it! It is the perfect my lips but better nude, sheer, natural looking, glossy, moisturising lipstick and it’s a long standing favourite of mine! I haven’t done a top five favourite lipsticks yet but this would be on it! I love the new packaging too, when you open the lid a mini mirror pops out which is handy for on the go! I could apply this shade in the dark but it’s maybe more useful for the other shades in the range which I definitely need to check out!

Stay Pout lip colour in Audition* £4.49
These are SEVENTEEN’s long wear lip colours and Audition is a gorgeous bright pink blue toned colour (which makes your teeth appear whiter)! I am completely in my comfort zone with pinks as well as corals as opposed to reds and this lipstick applies so smoothly and sits so comfortably on my lips it doesn’t dry them out at all! It’s not totally opaque and I find I still have a little bit of slip on my lips which is probably why I like the formula so much as its not drying. It lasts a really good amount of time on me and you can layer it on for a really bright pink colour which I would for a night out or apply it lightly for a gorgeous stain that lasts hours and really brightens up the face!

Lip Crayon in Bold* £4.99
I love lip crayons like this for throwing in my bag when I want a bit of colour, moisture and don’t have time to look in a mirror to apply! It’s a gorgeous coral colour with loads of shine that’s so easy to top up throughout the day! Like I said, pink and coral colours are my go to, they suit me and I look healthier with a bit of colour on my lips! Saying that, I do want to give the berry shade a go next!

SEVENTEEN define and conquer contour kit in medium

SEVENTEEN define and conquer contour kit in medium swatches

Define and Conquer contour kit in Medium* £5.99
I was so excited to receive this as I have eyed this up in Boots many a time and swatched the shades only to find they were all sold out! It seems to be one of SEVENTEEN’s most popular products and rightly so! I could not wait to get this out of the packaging! It comes in two shades, of which I have the darkest and originally I thought it was going to be too warm toned for me but thankfully I was wrong! This is buttery soft and blends like a dream leaving a realistic shadow on my cheekbone and no harsh lines! What I love most about this kit though is the fact the highlight shade is matte! I will get so much more use out of it and have been using it to set the my Phwoarr paint concealer under my eyes where it brightens really well! I love the sleek black packaging too!

SEVENTEEN falsifeye HD mascara wand

Falsifeye HD mascara in Blackest Black*£6.99
Finally, we have the Falsifye HD mascara! I love the plastic wand which has two different sides, one with shorter bristles and one with longer. This really coats my lashes evenly and I like to twist this as I apply which really separates and fan out my lashes! It doesn’t clump at all and the wand easily combs through my lashes. I always do two coats with any mascara I use and this gives me so much separation and length! Although I would usually choose the waterproof version of any mascara I’m using, I've been so impressed with the staying power of this one! I don’t often put mascara on my bottom lashes but the size of this mascara wand would make it perfect if you did!

So there we have my old and new favourites from SEVENTEEN! They are always on offer in Boots and there really is no reason not to have a swatching session when they have so much choice at brilliant quality and reasonable prices!  They also have a ton of new releases making their way into stores and I for one cannot wait have a look at the new makeup brushes and powder blushers!

SEVENTEEN have also recently launched their Blogger Network which is free to sign up to and includes loads of product information, news, makeup trends and tips!

What’s your favourite SEVENTEEN product or what would you most like to try?

Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in #700 Naughty Nude Review

Rimmel The Only 1 lipstick 700 Naughty Nude

Hi guys! Short and sweet review today on a new Rimmel release, their “The Only 1” lipstick! I picked this up on Tuesday after spotting it in a local chemist and armed with a voucher one of the girls I work with gave me, swiftly bought it at half price! Couldn’t let the voucher go to waste now could I?

I think there are meant to be fifteen shades in the new range but I had about six to choose from and after a swatching session decided on #700 Naughty Nude. Now I’m no nude lipstick fan but I find this to be quite a pink shade! Rimmel describe this as a no compromise all in one lipstick that provides long lasting, high impact colour, comfort, moisture and wear. All in all, I would have to agree!

Rimmel The Only 1 lipstick 700 Naughty Nude bullet

The staying power is great with this lipstick, I’ve applied it at 8 o’clock the last two mornings and it has stayed on my lips through copious water and tea drinking to around 12 o’clock. I’ll then top it up with a bit of Carmex lip balm to extend the wear a little further as the colour which starts out opaque wears off very evenly and leaves a tint behind!

I find the Rimmel lipstick scent so nostalgic; I think I maybe got given the end of one of my mum or aunts lipsticks when I was younger so it always reminds me of that! I personally like the smell but if you are sensitive to scents this may not be for you!

The lipstick has a slanted bullet unlike the usual Kate Moss etc. versions which have more of a tip. I find I have to take a bit more care when putting on this lipstick just to make sure I don’t go horribly over the lines but it’s nothing major!

Rimmel The Only 1 lipstick 700 Naughty Nude swatch

These are priced at £6.99 which is slightly more than the Lasting Finish and Moisture Renew lipsticks so if you were thinking of getting one I would definitely wait to get them on offer, Boots currently has buy one get second half price on their makeup!

I think Cheeky Coral could be next on my list! Have you tried these lipsticks? What was the last lipstick you bought?

Which Soap and Glory Brow Product is for you?

Soap and Glory Brow Products Archery Arch de Triumph D-I-Y Brow Bar setting gel
Hi everyone! I have a brow centric post for you today! When I posted my last Boots haul after purchasing the newest brow product Soap and Glory have brought out, it dawned on me that I now own all of the brow products Soap and Glory sell so I thought I'd put together this post!

Soap and Glory Arch de Triumph Eyebrow Shaper and Highlighter Shade Taupe/Buff £9
This was one of the first Soap and Glory products I ever owned and I got through quite a bit of the brow side before moving onto better things. I only still have this due to nostalgia I don't actually use it anymore as I have always found the colour pay off of the brow side quite weak unfortunately! The highlight side is a lot softer and easier to get some payoff though and it’s a lovely matte pink champagne shade I need to get more use out of! I think this pencil is best for those brows that don’t need much filling in or people who have quite light brows already! Wouldn’t repurchase this one!

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in the shade Brownie Points £10
This was my second foray into S and G’s brow offerings and the first one I stayed loyal to by repurchasing! It has a fine brush a bit like an eyeliner at one end and a screw up pencil on the other. I like to go in first with the brush to build up some colour with some hair like strokes then go over them with the pencil to add more shape. By storing this pencil with the tint at the bottom in it keeps it moist so the colour doesn’t run out as quick!  The pencil side is slightly thicker than the next pencil I’m going to talk about but the overall effect is a really natural brow as neither the tint or the pencil are overly pigmented! Love this one!

Soap and Glory brow products highlighter brow powder archery brow pencil

Soap and Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush in the shade Hot Chocolate £8
This is probably the brow product I get most use out of as it is just fool proof! It was a different story when I first used it though, I hated and thought it was too red toned and made my brows look too drawn on. After abandoning it for months I picked it up again, with a lighter hand this time, and its love now! The pencil itself is a super skinny retractable pencil that is really easy to control because it's so narrow and at the other end is a handy spoolie to brush brows into place! The spoolie does get covered in makeup very easily but it’s also really easy to wash and dries quickly. The pencil end has a screw up mechanism with a really fine soft pencil that is very pigmented and easy to do natural hair like strokes with.
This is my favourite pencil for when I am in a rush as I don't have to be too precise and it really makes my brows look so defined and polished. It has lasted me ages too! Will definitely repurchase although I am looking forward to finishing this as it feels a bit never-ending!

Soap and Glory Archery D-I-Y Brow Bar £12
This little kit is the same shape and size of the S and G powders and holds two brow powders in the shades Love is Blonde and Hot Chocolate, a transparent setting wax and a pearly shimmer highlight. It comes with a little mini spoolie and a mini brush as well as a mirror although I prefer to use a Zoeva wing liner brush for this! I like to mix the two brow powders together to get the best match for my brow colour as the shade Hot Chocolate itself can come off a little too warm for me but together they are perfect! This is a lovely little kit for shaping and defining brows and the highlight is a nice touch but I get just as much use out of my Beauty UK brow kit which is about half the price! Not a necessity!

Soap and Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow Sculpting Crayon and Setting Gel in the shade Brown and Out £10
This is the newest addition to the Soap and Glory brow family and one I’ve been testing out over the last few weeks. The pencil end of this is a little different to the previous ones I've talked about as it is thicker and has a slanted tip a bit like the Sleek Brow Stylist if anyone has tried that. I've found this pencil to be not as pigmented as the 2 in 1 pencil and brush so again this pencil will be good for those wanting a natural look. The gel is quite crispy to touch when it's in my brows but doesn't look crispy at all and I really like the size of the brush, it sets them really well. Probably wouldn’t repurchase this one though!

Overall, Soap and Glory has everyone covered! If you are looking for a natural brow try the Archery brow tint and pencil or the 2 in 1 sculpting crayon and if you want a bit more pigmentation try the 2 in 1 pencil and brush or the D-I-Y brow bar! I’d give the Arch de Triumph pencil a miss though! Special mention to the Soap and Glory Lid Stuff Whats Nude quad which served as my brow powder of choice long before the D-I-Y kit came along! The shade Mudhoney is just the best!

Have you tried any of Soap and Glory’s brow offerings? If not, what’s your favourite brow product?
