Time for a rundown of what cleansers are currently in my bathroom! I always like to have a few options, so I have a couple first cleansers here and the rest are my second or morning cleansers!
Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil*
I really love what I have tried from this brand! The cleansing oil is lightweight and contains soybean oil, ginseng seed oil and micellar technology that easily dissolves makeup and dirt. It also replenishes skin moisture and has a subtle, earthy ginseng aroma. I use a couple of pumps and massage into my face then emulsify with water and use a face cloth to remove. It leaves my skin cleansed and soft, ready for my next steps! Don’t forget you can get up to 5% more off at YesStyle with my discount code DANIELLESBB5 (affiliated).
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
It’s been years since I’ve used this one but I got a new one around Christmas when I was home and it was on £10 Tuesday at Boots! It has a refreshing eucalyptus scent, and contains cocoa butter, rosemary and chamomile to help moisturise, nourish and soften the skin! It feels creamy and does a brilliant job of removing my make up! I don’t experience any sensitivity with the eucalyptus and it’s one of my favourite scents!
Pixi Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel*
Part of the Glow Tonic family (one of my favourite toners) this is a lovely addition to the range! It is a brightening gel cleanser containing glycolic acid to exfoliate, horse chestnut extract to soothe and smooth and a proprietary moisclean complex to lock in moisture. There isn’t much of a lather but once I have massaged into my face I like to leave it on while I brush my teeth, it’s super gentle so there is no burning or anything but my skin feels smooth and balanced and looks brighter after use! It doesn’t leave a film behind and doesn’t strip my skin either!
Murad Essential-C Cleanser*
Another gel cleanser, this time with a bit more lather and a fresh citrus scent! It’s formulated with Vitamins A, C and E so antioxidant rich and also contains allantoin and panthenol to leave skin soft and moisturised. I’ve really been enjoying this cleanser, especially in the morning. It's formulated for all skin types and helps to remove environmental impurities, and defend against free radicals. My skin feels clean, fresh and soft after use and looks brighter! Read about more of my Murad favourites here!
Biossance Squalane and Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser
Sticking with the gel cleansers and this is another great option! It foams more than the previous two but doesn’t feel stripping - amino acid helps eliminate the dirt that can clog pores and Aloe Vera hydrates, calms and soothes. It also contains moringa so there is a lovely citrus scent and my skin always feels clean, ready for my next steps!
Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
Lastly, another mini and another gel and I was surprised by how dark this one was! It is formulated with vitamin B5 and sodium PCA as well as hemp seed oil (rich in omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids) and matcha so is hydrating and soothing with antioxidant properties to help protect your skin barrier from any environmental aggressors. It has a good lather and I really enjoyed it when I went home for a quick trip recently - it was the only second cleanse I took with me when I typically rotate cleansers more! It kept my skin clean and hydrated and my barrier healthy!
Overall, I am super happy with my cleanser rotation at the minute and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of these! Let me know what cleansers you currently have in your stash! You can see my previous cleanser reviews here!
